This cabin, originally a log cabin, was built in 1875 at Otta. In 1927 it was moved to its present location where it was extended adding a boat-house and a small woodshed. In 1975 these annexes were torn down and the cabin itself fully restored. A new boat-house and a new outhouse were built.
The cabin is recently restored and has a marvellous location near lake Bergetjønn. Excellent opportunity for touring summer and winter. Boat available. Trout fishing. In summer approxemately 500 m to walk from local road, Tjønnbakkvegen. Car park at Vesleberget where the path starts. In winter 1,5 km from Mysuseter. Snow scooter transport can be arranged.
The cabin is well equipped and is 25 quare metres. Bedlinen and towels necessary1. Combined kitchen and sitting-room. 2 bedrooms with 4 beds (1+3). Propane gas cooking. Propane fridge. Solar panel lighting. Wood stove for heating. New outside toilet in outhouse. Water from near-by well.
Electricity (solar panel) and firewood are included in the rental price.
No animal. Please do not smoke in the cabin.
